Relational bullying is unlike other types of bullying because it is usually done behind the victim’s back. Bullies use friendships as a way to hurt others.
- Relational bullying hurts both the victim and the group.
- The bully relies on the bystanders to do her dirty work, so this type of bullying cannot happen without you.
- Bystanders do not jump on the bandwagon! The easiest way to stop relational bullying is by not taking part in it at all.
- Victims, learning to stop making assumptions and dealing with relational bullying directly can help stop it from happening to again.
